History

Two computer engineering students who saw a need for computer support in the area founded Digital Research and Development in San Luis Obispo, California. After working for many years with people fed up with the unreliable support for their new and unfamiliar technology, Digital Research was born to help those in the community who need help setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting their home computer systems.

The founders of Digital Research also saw that many home and small businesses in the area were without an adequate computer technician. Digital Research decided to go to local businesses and offer their services to help small businesses work more efficiently without downtime.

Digital Research adapted to the changing needs of their clients by offering not only computer repair, but also web site development for families and small businesses. Now local small businesses can come to a local company to build them a web site to their specifications.
